Take a step back in time at our annual Heritage Weekend - the perfect opportunity to discover the fascinating and diverse history of Lauderdale House, Waterlow Park, Highgate and the surrounding areas. The weekend includes our Local Heritage Fair and our Heritage Family Fun Day.

On Saturday 28 February, we celebrate Highgate's fascinating history with our Local Heritage Fair, and special talks under the theme of 'Using the Arts to Share the History of Overlooked Local Women.'

Waterlow Park Geotrail

Join us as we learn how the geology of Waterlow Park relates to its layout and local development on this informative walk with the London Geodiversity Partnership. 

By Coach to Kenwood: Dido's Story
2pm | Free (booking required)

Join award-winning playwright, actress and broadcaster Non Vaughan-O’Hagan for a journey back in time in a fascinating talk about Dido Belle and her life in Kenwood.

The Lost Girls of Highgate Cemetery
3.30pm | Free (booking required)

Explore the making of The Lost Girls of Highgate Cemetery, a devised theatre production inspired by a lesser-known story within Highgate Cemetery about the lives of ten girls and women buried together in an unmarked grave.

And on Sunday 1 March, we invite children and their families to explore the house and discover its secrets at our Heritage Family Fun Day!
