Buxton Traders group is tasking itself to help Buxton Town Centre acheive its full potential by filling empty shops and increasing the diversity of the shopping experience, to give the thousands of visitors every year more reasons to talk favourably about the town and return time and time again.

The main issues to be discused to help achieve these aims are:

  • The high business rates in Buxton
  • Giving greater assistance to help new business owners set up
  • The reduction or removal on some days of car parking fees
