We can't thank Dale enough for his immediate response when the rain started pouring through our 90yr old mums bedroom ceiling, he came out the same day and put in a temporary fix until the weather dried up then made it a priority job to mend her roof, We wouldn't hesitate to use Ramsbottom Roofing again - Thanks Dale!!

We called Ramsbottom Roofing as we had developed a leak in our roof.
Dale arranged to visit the same day and not only identified the cause (split lead valley) but was also able to repair it then and there.
Professional and friendly service, and even a follow up call to check that we were happy with the result.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Called them as we had water dripping down the outside of our flue, into our living room.
Fair play they arrived the same day and surveyed the issue. The weather had been persistently wet and I agreed to go on the roof would be daft.
Ramsbottom Roofing committed to coming back on a suitable day a week or so later.
To be fair I didn't chase them up as we pretty much had 2 wks of rain for the following weeks I called them the first decent dry day and as I was working from home that day they fortunately fitted me in.
Not only was the leak fixed (awaiting next heavy driven rain to be sure) but an additional leak against the other flue was identified and resolved.

When I was conned by a previous business, who while doing a small job to my roof managed to make it worse and actually leak, I got in touch with Dale @ Ramsbottom Roofing. Needless to say, I was a bit apprehensive after my first encounter but Dale was great. He pinpointed the exact cause of the leak - 4 broken tiles, went and got some new ones and fitted them in no time at all. Will definitely use Dale again and would highly recommend his business.

I can thoroughly recommend Ramsbottom Roofing. Dale and his team did a fantastic job on my garage roof, I was very impressed by the quality of their work and attention to detail. He was more than happy to return to deal with a problem which became apparent during the recent exceptionally heavy rainfall. I will be using this company again to repair my leaking gutters.

We recently asked Dale to look at changing our conservatory roof into a rubber tiled roof to make the room more user friendly throughout the year. Dale came to quote and was very competitive. He arrived as scheduled and carried out the work promptly and to a very high standard. Cleaning all areas around the garden and ensuring it was left tidy when finished. Dale had under estimated the number of ridge tiles required. He was extremely quick to sort out additional tiles and fit them. He's done an amazing job for us and we are extremely happy with the whole procedure. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dale. On top of doing a very professional job, he's also a really great bloke.

Dale came to help us on Friday and was absolutely fantastic. We have struggled with a gutter problem for two years and have had two other companies who did not know how to solve our problem. Within 15 minutes Dale had identified the issue and began working. Now our gutter looks better than ever. Very pleased!

Dale Jones of Ramsbottom Roofing should not be trusted. Use him at your peril. He attended my roof quoting £150 to attempt to fix a leak. He then carried out his efforts and then asked for £220 without telling us that he was going to increase his quote. My wife paid after feeling under pressure. As soon as the next rain, it leaked immediately. I then contacted Dale to ask very politely if he could return. He then told me a series of lies about why he couldn’t return abs kept me waiting for around 7 months. Then I became more demanding so he returned under duress. He then did nothing to fix it again and then told me I need a new roof and to not contact him again.

After a few months of unkept promises, and only after I'd left a negative review here on bestofbury because of his lack of response and repeated failure to do the work when he said he would, Dale eventually came and replaced the leadwork in my stone guttering with rubber. To be fair, he did say when he originally came out to assess the job that it might take a few attempts and he might have to come out and re-seal it. When he eventually turned up to do the work, he made it obvious he would rather be somewhere else - surly attitude, like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. His assistant/apprentice was very pleasant though. He did the work, then tried to quibble over the price (which we'd agreed in writing at his first visit) A few weeks later we had a moderate downpour and a fair bit of wind. Not only did the guttering leak but a fair section of the front row of tiles had slipped - tiles that I assume he had had to lift up, as they covered part of the guttering. I contacted Dale by WhatsApp and sent him photos, and he said he'd come back out and take a look - initially he said this would be at some point in between xmas and new year, he then, when I'd heard nothing from him so contacted him again after new year, he said he would come out when the weather improved. That was over three months ago. The weather has improved, but not a peep from him since then. I've had to have the guttering re-done (and the slates replaced/refitted) by another roofer, but I'm left with a stain down the front of the house where it was leaking. So, as long as you don't expect him to do the work with any urgency, or to keep his promise and come back and rectify any issues, Dale's your man.

After previous roofers failed to repair my roof after 3 attempts and charging me money each time they came and still did not solve the problem I was so upset then Ramsbottom roofing came to my rescue and was recommended by my son in law And solved the problem quickly and efficiently I can’t tell you how grateful I was and I can say how professional and honest this roofer is and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, if you need work doing on your roof give him a call you won’t be disappointed
