I could sum it up in one word - ethos. Every accolade that could be laid upon a nursery has been earned by Little Holcombe. As a parent, leaving your child is the hardest thing in the world to do. Leaving my daughter at Little Holcombe is made just that little bit easier because I have 100% faith in their standards. They are welcoming, accommodating, flexible, consistent, attentive and caring.

This is an excellent nursery in every way that a parent could want. Fantastic clean equipment, healthy food, very friendly and well trained staff. The best nursery I have used in the last 12 years of having children. Not a single fault I could think of.

Dale came to repair our roof after storm damage. I contacted him Friday afternoon and he arrived promptly on Monday to carry out the repair. He is a pleasant and professional roofer and repaired the broken tiles despite the unpredictable December weather. What a relief to find a tradesman who arrives when he promises to and who carries out a really professional job. Highly recommended!

The Met in Bury is a comfortable and pleasant place to go. There is a lovely cafe attached with lots of fine foods and surroundings. The staff at the Met are very helpful with any issues concerning disability access including making arrangements for lower seating. There is a bar next to the theatre for refreshments and the chairs in the theatre are comfortable and well spaced. The stage is close to the audience making you really feel part of the show. The venue is clean and tidy and staff are friendly and helpful. An enjoyable experience.

When I was a member at the Junior School for Bury Grammar, each year a form would have a different charity each. I remember throughout year eight and even year nine, our chosen charity was Bleakholt as we kept it for two years. We held many bun sales, events such as Halloween fairs and gave away Christmas hampers. We chose Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary as when looking through the charity we realised how much hard work the employees put in to look after the animals, and we also wanted to provide funding for the company so that it could be more heavily advertised. Overall the sanctuary is fantastic at what it does and we were proud to help it.

Each child is treated as an individual and along with the child's parents, a development plan is identified and implemented to meet their needs. The staff are always friendly, professional and always make you feel your child is special and deserves the very best care.
