Great day out for all the family, very friendly staff who do a great job. So many different animals from cats and dogs to pigs and goats, not to mention the stables and wonderful rural surroundings.

I went to Bleakholt in August 2012 to look for a 'big' dog. I had a wander around by myself wishing I could take all the dogs home!! The staff where helpful but not intrusive and obviously very busy. There were alot of people looking around and several helpers doing dog walks. I then spoke to Adie and asked if there were any Shepherds or Rotties available. There was. I was told that Rio had been there about 6 months, was a bit 'thick' but as gentle as a teddy bear. It was apparent that a strong bond had been formed in the time they had been together. I signed up as a dog walker and took Rio out. Other staff came to talk about the dogs and Rio. The dedication of the staff to looking after and rehoming all the animals in their care is amazing. I adopted Rio and it has been the best decision ever but the best part is when we go to visit is watching Rio when he sees everyone especially Adie. If you can help in anyway and it doesn't have to be adopting an animal please do. You won't regret it.

A totally reliable place! The staff and volunteers are absolutely fantastic. Always helping people and animals in need. They annually host open days which are always a great way to raise money and meet new fur babies! We got our first dog Bella from here and wouldn't look further when getting another! Keep up the fantastic work xx

Just want to say what a quality instructor graham is .. He made me believe I could finally pass my driving test, and would recommend him to anyone who lacks confidence driving, your guaranteed passing with this guy. Nice one pal, going to miss the getting told of every week for rearranging my lessons haha

The feedback from my guests at the Made in Bury Business Awards 2013 luncheon has been amazing for Ian Lavin and his team, what brilliant magicians they are! Ian always amazes me however the cheers and clapping coming from the tables meant just one thing.A magician! I would recommend using Ian's services for any such corporate event.and not to forget BIG THANKS for attending Phil's BIG Birthday Party and dazzling our guests there too. Its Never Too Late To Learn to drive I`ve always had to rely on public transport and other people giving me lifts. I`ll be 50 this year and to be honest I thought I was too old to learn to drive but always wanted to give it a go. Last year I contacted GDT and booked some lessons. Graham put me at ease straight away and was very patient and great fun to learn with. He adapts a learning programme to suit you. I always felt I was learning at my pace and because of this my confidence increased every week. I can`t thank Graham enough because today I passed my test at my first attempt. Graham is always encouraging you and really installs belief in you even when you are doubting yourself. If your thinking like I was that your too old to learn do what I did just give it a go and book some lessons with GDT and find out. You`ll be suprised how much you can still learn and I guarantee you`ll enjoy the experience. Once again big thanks to Graham and the team at GDT. A very professional outfit with top quality helpull staff.

Brilliant!! I've had lessons before but never really enjoyed the whole driving experience. In fact I usually ended up dreading my lessons. But I felt at ease with Graham straight away and any problems that I'd previously always had with my driving, Graham helped to fix quickly. I can honestly say I've enjoyed every lesson I've had with him and that's lead to me doing what I thought was impossible and passing my test! I'd recommend Graham to everybody but especially those that may have struggled before as you will never find a more helpful an understanding instructor. Thank you Graham!!
