Albeit we stayed at a special discount price, we were treated just the same as all other guests, all the staff we met were respectful, friendly and willing to please us. All aspects of the Hotel were very good (Friendly Staff, clean public areas and spa area. The room was very nice and also clean. The food in the restaurant was very good, we really enjoyed our after Christmas break and have already booked 2 more of these special offer prices for later in 2016.

Stayed here as a birthday treat for my boyfriend... We booked a 2 course meal with wine, and upper deck room upgraded) and breakfasts in the morning...
The welcome was great and we got pur room an hour early...
Dinner in the pub lovely and not over priced but the sporits are so be warned.
Leisure facilities are great but very busy on a sunday
2 course meal in restaurant was very nice and wine too? Service was great, even got a birthday muffin with a candle for his desert!
Upperdeck room has "Starbucks" in but really its just cups woth coffee and tea sachets, nothing special... Full sky tv (although couldnt access films) and access to leisure facilities
We left at 5 am for 2 reasons ... 1 because i was actually quite unwell, but had i not been we couldnt sleep because of the noise from a load of teenagers running around the halls all night and next door but one blasting their music... Yes they were still at it at 5am and the staff were unaware
Therefore we did not stay for our pre paid breakfasts so cannot conment on thia

Not impressed with this hotel. I wanted to take advantage of the January deal and see one of the properties to build future business relations and to book future business room nights.
Upon entering the hotel, I found it to be a little run down. The check in process was a little crazy as the computers weren't working properly.
When checking into my room, I found it very dirty and unloved.
The marks on the doors and walls and bathroom floor made me want to leave my shoes on all night. I didn't want to take a bath or shower because of the bathroom. The room seemed very well used and quickly flipped foe next guest.
I ordered room service from the onsite pub, and I ordered the burger they are known for? When it came to my room it was delivered with NO hamburger in the bun??? Odd.. So I called down and they said my plate had been taken to soon and they brought me another one up.
It was a mess from point of check in to check out.

Yet again staff more than friendly accommodated change of numbers in party with no problem food was plentiful warm and served with no pressure to leave.Would have loved their to be a cheeseboard as an alternative to the very good range of deserts. It would have received a rating of 5 if it had.

I booked a spa day for 2 which included access to the gym, sauna, pools, afternoon tea then a couple of massage treatments, the whole day was lovely and relaxing, the treatments were amazing the staff were very welcoming and friendly, I was sadly very let down by the 'afternoon tea' or in other words a butty and a coffee. if it was advertised as a sandwich and a coffee then that would have been fine but the fact that I work in catering and make afternoon tea on a large scale every day I was disappointed at what I received although it was nice I just find it should not be advertised as afternoon tea.

This was a very brief overnight stay for business so little chance to explore the hotel facilities. My room was pleasant and clean. However, my colleague who arrived first found that the business booking had been lost and staff had to identify two rooms - apparently my colleague's room was awaiting refurbishment so wasn't great quality.
