Friendly staff make check in / out very effecient, the rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet, great bar and onsite facilities, good parking (free at weekends) and convenient location close to motorway network.

Arrived on friday night and parking was free for the weekend so that was a good start. No reception desk which looked daunting but the automated check in is really simple. The room was great, nice decor and bathroom- just a shame the view was out the back but nothing can be done about that. Our sleep was disturbed by other guests getting pizza delivered noisily in the small hours of the mornning. If this really has to happpen could it not be dropped off at the front desk and the customer collect it? Anyway not really the hotel's fault. My one complaint is breakfast. Half the items were missing from the self service and no attempt was made to keep them filled up. The toaster was the same antiquated and ineffiecient machine you see in holiday resorts abroad with bread going round several times before it gets brown. Overall a good stay and we would do it again.

Stayed with a group of friends last weekend for football

One of our party left behind car keys and personal documents

Phone call to the hotel sorted it and items posted without charge. FANTASTIC customer Care
Thanks Jess and your team

I only stayed one night and I wish it had been longer. My room was super cosy and the bed was comfy too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I will be staying again as I travel from Scotland down to the south very often. This hotel will be out of my way a bit but I would rather travel that little bit longer and have a great nights sleep than stay in a hotel which is not as nice. Great price too!! Would recommend!

Arrived and checked in, went to room to find the sky on tv was not working even though we payed extra for, fortunately we go moved to a new club room but we had problems with the toilet constantly running and made me and my partner not have the best of sleeps. However when we went down to the bar a lovely lady who served us (think her name was chloe) she was very chatty and helpful and a good member of the company. Shame we couldn’t get sleep as that ruined our stay

8 weeks ago we began a long stay here. It’s been an absolute pleasure during that time. All the staff, housekeeping, bar staff, reception staff have been polite, friendly, approachable and welcoming.
Thank you to Donetta who from the very start of our stay accommodated our schedules in her housekeeping schedule and took the time to find out what we needed, and a huge thank you to Hoyni ( not sure how to spell) who has been fantastic and a pleasure to get to know. This plus the fact that the room is spacious, large TV and beds are really comfortable, made a long stay so much easier.
Eating in the bar and grill gives a varied and enjoyable menu and drinks, favourites included flatbread pizza and fish and chips! Thanks to all the amazing bar staff, excellent service, friendly and welcoming, especially Bethany, Trisha and Faith who quite simply are just fantastic!!
All the reception staff have been friendly, helpful and approachable especially Jade and Jay - thank you so much, you both have been brilliant, sorting booking issues and always having time to make sure everything was okay.
If you ever have to have a long stay in a hotel we highly recommend here!

It's been a while since we went to The Village for Sunday lunch. There used to be a huge selection of help yourself starters and desserts and a help yourself carvery. We have been today and the choice of starters was few and such tiny portions. The dinner was served piping hot, I chose beef with lots of veg and gravy. The biggest let down was the desserts. Muffins, Danish pastries or fruit n yogurt pots. Very disappointing. No ice cream, not hot desserts!!!!!
Sadly this has put us off and we will not be returning for Sunday Lunch.
