Bury celebrates the life and work of one of its own cultural icons Victoria Wood.
Working in collaboration with her Literary Estate the exhibtion will feature some well-loved and recognisable scripts for shows such as, As seen on TV (including the soap Acorn Antiques), An Audience With......1988, Pat and Magaret, Dinnerladies, the first draft of Acorn Antiques - The Musical, Housewife 49 and Wood and Walters.
There will also be the chance to see Victoria Wood's handwritten notes and the lyrics for 'Fashion', the song that won her New Faces 1974.
Also on display will be photos, some of those numerous awards and the iconic yellow beret worn by the character Kimberley's Friend. There will be school magazines from Bury Grammar School. There will also be a selection of Victoria Wood merchandise.
