A stalwart in the local community for many a year, Tompsons has long been a traditional business with traditional values.
Nothing has changed in that respect - you'll still get the smile and warm welcome, the great customer service and fabulous food, although now you'll also get the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer with your fish and chips. Tompsons Fish and Chips are now fully licensed.
There's a new alcoholic drinks menu for those dining that consists of local ales, wine and beer - perfect to enjoy with your cod and chips or pudding for that matter.
Tompsons have been providing fish and chips to the Bury community (and those that travel from far and wide) for many, many years. A family run business, they have built and exceptional reputation for some of the best fish and chips that money can buy - their reviews say it all.
If you fancy something slightly different then why not try some of the other fish on offer. There's hake, haddock and even king prawns served battered with a sweet chilli dip! Salmon is on the menu too and it can be poached - perfect for those with special dietary requirements. Seabass is a firm favourite, pan fried in butter, salt and pepper - taste buds tingling yet? Whatever you choose, it's guaranteed to be tasty and fresh.
Wash it down with a choice from the new drinks selection or choose from one of the old and traditional favourites such as dandelion and burdock or cream soda. Of course you can still get regular soft drinks as well as tea and coffee too.
Not been to Tompsons for a while? Treat yourself - you know you want too!
