I visited the Best of Bury last night, before arriving my thought was “networking again, will it be worth it!” what a pleasant surprise it was. Atmosphere and layout to wander and chat was inviting, the team at Best of were beaming with pride at their event and they had every right too. It was very good and exceeded my expectations ( I go to a lot of networking events)It was lovely to see a mix of start up businesses, well established businesses and worthy charities all under one roof. The information, stands and people were professional and very friendly. And the bonus of a lovely buffet! I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be looking out for more events. A great relaxed evening meeting excellent & passionate businesses.

Dear Phil, Debi and the team at thebestofbury. This is to thank you for the help and support that you have given to AFG LAW since we opened our Bury office in March 2013. Through becoming a member of thebestofbury, we have been able to significantly raise our brand awareness which was vital as we were opening in a new town. I think it is fair to say that the brand of AFG LAW is now extremely well known within the Bury area and this is no small part down to thebestofbury and the activities that we have engaged in with them. Through our membership of thebestofbury, we have been able to develop a number of significant relationships both with new clients and fellow business members. We have also benefited from their other initiatives such as Phil's expert advice on looking at business plans and driving the business forward. The team is creative and dynamic, and always maintains the personal touch. Nothing ever seems too much trouble for them and they have supported us in all the events that we have run since opening. It's a little ironic that the team at the Best of Bury spend a lot of time encouraging you to get reviews and testimonials for YOUR business, but rarely ask for them in return - but that kind of sums them up. The entire team are entirely focussed on helping you as a business from offering support, advice, contacts blogs to organising amazing events bringing other business and members of the community together. And that's really what they have done - created a fantastic community that I am proud to be a part of and support.

It's very interesting writing this review because I am going to be honest about myself. When I met Phil and Kathryn initially I was adamant that I didn't need the extra help and support to grow my business because I could do it myself.
However, I can now say with confidence that once I made that step I have seen nothing but improvement. There is something magical that happens when you are part of the Best of Bury - you become a part of a team of businesses that reach out to help and support each other.
I am still not saying that I couldn't do it myself, but the Best of Bury make that link to the community much stronger and quicker than you could do on your own.
Most importantly the connections they help you make, and the friendships that you form as a result play a big part in building your business.

Congratulations to You, Phil, and your dedicated team for a great evening of opportunity at the Big Bury Business Expo. A special thanks to Kathryn, for all her perseverance :). I found it to be a great experience which was very well organised and structured. I arrived quite anxious, thinking it would be rather daunting and uncomfortable as a female attending alone, however, immediately on entering these feelings vanished. Everyone was so friendly and busy engaging with each other, that arriving alone wasn't even an issue or noticeable. Although I didn't mingle with many, the few I did, presented some great ideas and possible future contacts. I came away with plenty to think about.

Thank you very much for the event last night. People like yourself really do prove that it's not all about one’s self but also doing more for the community. I managed to get some contacts who will guide me in starting my own business plus a contact that will fix my broken car for half the price of high street garages!

We've been members now for 4 years. thebestofbury is the only advertising that we do and we still get as many new calls today from finding people through the site as we ever did. Using thebestof has helped us massively on Google and has kept our rankings consistently high.
