Jersey Girls is one of the best ice cream places around the area. All ice-cream is made freshly on site from the herds of cows they have. It is definitely a stop to make if you're in the area, stopping by or just live around but have never before visited.

The prices are fairly reasonable with 3 scoops in a cone for only around £5. They have lots of flavours which vary every day.

There is a smokehouse round the back of the shop which we haven't yet visited but could increase the score next time.

Facilities on the site do include a limited space car park, toilets (porta potty) and sinks to wash your hands. There are some animals like cows, goats and donkeys to look at while eating your ice-cream and they do offer lots of seating too.

There are also different products you can buy like eggs and honey for considerable prices from other local farmers.

During busy times on hot days, there can be a very long queue but it does go down fast.

Great little find. Ice cream fresh from the cows themselves. Dog friendly including doggy ice-cream and a few animals for the kids to see. There's a new savoury addition in the form of burgers and hotdogs round the back.

A bit pricey, but very good ice cream. Unfortunately you have to eat it outdoors in a working farm so it smells of cow poo, but you filter it out pretty quickly. Very much recommended.

This is a lovely place to stop for a coffe, cake or ice cream. They even do burgers and some hot food too.
However, I need to say that they are labelling ice cream as Gluten Free. When I enquired I was told it contains a “trace” which as any coeliac will know means that this isn’t Gluten free. I had a conversation with the young guy who was working there. He tried to reassure me by telling me his mum and sister are both Coeliac and they are ok with the ice cream served there. I did try to explain that even if a person shows no symptoms, even a trace is damaging to the intestine of a person with Coeliac. He was dismissive of this which is annoying.
I don’t have an issue with places not accommodating people with Coeliacs (although it is frustrating) but I do have an issue with things being labeled as Gluten Free when they’re not.
My suggestion to the owner at Jersey Girls is to educate the staff on Gluten Free and also make sure your food is labelled correctly.
You have got a great little business going here otherwise . 🤔

Straight from the cow with a variety of flavours. Always busy with posh families so the downside is standing in a que listening to them but apart from that, it's flawless.

We had an amazing time visiting the farm. The ice cream was incredibly fresh and creamy—definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. You can really taste the difference with it being made right on the farm using local dairy.

There were so many unique flavors to choose from—classics like chocolate and strawberry, plus fun ones like honeycomb, mint choc chip, and even rhubarb crumble. Every scoop was packed with flavor and super smooth.

Perfect spot for a treat on a sunny day, and great for kids and adults alike. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

The ice cream here is genuinely great — creamy, rich, and full of flavour. The prices are reasonable, and the setting is peaceful and pleasant, especially on a sunny day. I also appreciate the variety of flavours available.

That said, there are a couple of things that could really improve the overall experience. The toilets are portaloos, which I personally find quite unpleasant. If you’re inviting people to your farm and selling food, it seems reasonable to invest in proper restroom facilities — it would make a big difference in how welcoming the place feels.

Also, while the environment is nice, it would benefit from a bit more thought. At the moment, it feels a bit like an ice cream stall in the middle of nowhere. Adding some seating areas, play space for kids, or even a small farm walk could really turn this into a destination rather than just a quick stop.

Gluten free options available but need to let them know as they add a biscuit to tubs🤦🏻‍♀️.

Overall, worth a visit for the ice cream, but with a few improvements, it could be so much more.

It was OK. I didn't think it was anything special. Came to over £14 for 3 ice creams and a latte. Very busy. Staff seemed friendly. Free parking wouldn't rush back.
