Food You can enjoy lunch, an afternoon coffee, an evening meal or a Sunday roast at The Crown, Hartest. Home smoked salmon plus local produce feature in our menus. For lunch you can enjoy a sandwich made with local hand-cut granary or white bread – fillings change regularly but you might find Suffolk pork and apple sauce or Suffolk ham and mustard. Lunch and dinner menus include ‘proper food’ with puds and cheese too. There is also a specials board during the week.
You can takeaway fish and chips on a Friday evening between 5pm and 7pm and have a beer while you are waiting.
We have a special kids menu and can provide smaller portions from our main menu too.
