The scream park, which has just received silver in the UK Theme Park’s prestigious Scream Park of the year awards, attracts over 30,000 visitors every year.

This year’s fear-inducing adult-only fright nights, set across the 40-acre farm site, will be home to seven terrifying attractions, including fan favourites Insomnia and Freakout On Tour. Whilst heart-racing thrill rides, roaming characters and spinetingling live acts will see scares lurk around every corner. 

Brave scream-park goers can face their fears at Screamfest when it launches at Staffordshire’s National Forest Adventure Farm, on Friday 9 October 2026. 

Brand new for 2026, the haunting Cortex 17 attraction which sees guests volunteer for Project Eidolon, a clinical trial exploring the potential to unlock dormant psychic abilities. Set within a covert 1960s hospital, volunteers are administered Cortex 17 before making their way through the facility, witnessing the wide-ranging side effects of the experiment as they unfold.

Back by popular demand, the corn maze attraction Mutation Damnation returns for its second year alongside Area 52 - which sees visitors paintball battle across 5 acres in a terrifying alien apocalypse tractor trailer ride. And of course, Hellcatraz, famed by fear fans as Screamfest’s “most intense attraction ever” which sees guests separated and imprisoned with Hell's worst inmates. 

Screamfest goers are in for a jam-packed evening of thrills and chills with live music, extreme fright acts, electric shock chairs, street food stalls serving homemade pizza, loaded fries and nachos, to waffles and doughnuts with multiple licensed bars serving gruesome cocktails.

Ivor Robinson, who runs Screamfest alongside his brother Tom Robinson said: “2026 marks 15 terrifying years of Screamfest events, so of course we wanted to mark the occasion by launching our biggest and best Halloween event to date. 

We’ve brought back our fan favourites Hellcatraz and Insomnia, and the launch of Cortex 17 – our newest and largest attraction yet, coming in at over 440 square metres, to contain 20 of our terrifying actors. Our team has been working on bringing this to life for almost a year. Screamfest 2026 is the Halloween event scare fans won’t want to miss.”
