From Saturday 18th July to Tuesday 1st September the National Forest Adventure Farm in Tatenhill, Burton, will be unleashing the biggest beach themed vibes yet for Farmarama.
Soak up the sun and create sandcastles on the soft sandy beach, which has doubled in size this year with over 400 tonnes of golden sand and relaxing deckchairs, enjoy the toe tapping seaside shows, foam parties and craft activities or cool off in five giant paddling pools.
Part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings families can also benefit from an additional £2.50 off normal ticket prices and receive a free return ticket to the park during the summer holidays.
Tom Robinson, who runs the National Forest Adventure Farm with brother Ivor, said it was the ideal opportunity to take advantage of the summer heat wave and enjoy a family staycation here in the Midlands. He said: “Being outside has so many health benefits for children with the sea, sand and laughter of seaside holidays creating cherished memories for families. Burton is about as far away from the seaside as you can get in the UK, so with all this warm weather we wanted to help families enjoy the thrills and enjoyment of being at the beach without the long car journey to get there.”
Over 400 tonnes of soft golden sand have been shipped into surround the gigantic paddling pools with plenty of space to build sandcastles or relax on one of the traditional deck chairs.
Foam parties and regular party shows, games and seaside shows will take place on the main stage with traditional sheep races, fairground teacup ride and sustainable craft activities around the site.
A New for 2026 crepe stand will add to the beach hut style food stalls including a Texan Smokehouse Grill, pizza parlour, coffee shop and homemade ice cream.
A 5-acre maize maze in the theme of a sun will allow families to explore the winding paths with the corn field growing up to 9ft tall in the height of the summer.
Farmarama will run every day throughout the six-week school holidays. Admission includes access to the other farmyard activities including Megs Slide Mountain towering up to 30ft, outdoor adventure play area, animal display areas, barrel stampede ride, meet and feed animal areas, outdoor go-karts, guinea pig petting, jumping pillows, JCB big dig zone, musical maze, Jurassic sand play and fossil dig and mini quad bikes.
