Well how about a visit (or two!) to a Real Cider and Pie Festival this August Bank Holiday. The Burnt Gate in Anslow famous for its Anslow pie is holding one all this Weekend, starting today you've got four days to fill your boots with homemade pies and real artisan ciders, beautiful fruity, still and fizzy all made with care and passion.

And the pies aren't just about meat, ok so we cater for carnivores, but also coeliac and vegan too. Food is served all day over the four days from 12noon finishing at 8p.m on Sunday and 9.00p.m. Friday, Saturday and Monday.

And for an update to your local knowledge, since launching our Globally accepted Anslow pie, we have followed up with the Anslow pudding.

Pie, Pud & a Pint, it's what pubs were invented for.

Oh, & if you can mange to sup 6 pints of cider over the four days we'll give you one free (no extra prizes for doing it in one go!)

Why not make this annual event at the Burnt Gate part of your Bank Holiday Weekend.
