Join us for an unforgettable evening of piano mastery with internationally acclaimed pianist and conductor Janusz Piotrowicz. Renowned for his poetic interpretations and extraordinary virtuosity, Piotrowicz rose to prominence after winning the Nawrocki Prize for the most poetic interpreter at the 1975 Warsaw International Chopin Piano Competition. His early career saw remarkable débuts—including performing Rachmaninov’s Third Concerto at Windsor Castle—and he later became celebrated for ambitious epic recital programmes and global performances.
With two 50-minute piano sets performed in the atmospheric State Music Room, this concert promises a rare chance to experience an artist who has captivated audiences from the Royal Albert Hall to major international stages. Piotrowicz’s dedication to music is matched by his humanitarian work as founder of The World Trust and artistic director of the Ripon International Festival.
