Great Customer Service

As I approach a more senior age I am showing trends of 'grumpy old man' syndrome especially when it come to customer service or the lack of it.  So that is why I am compelled to write about an encounter that helped push back my fall into 'grumpy old manism' .

I had a small 'incident' in my car involving a wheelie bin 'parked' on a narrow road and as a result needed a new glass for my wing mirror.  Thinking with horror that I would need a whole new unit I visited Buckingham Ford for advice and replacement.  They very quickly identified the part I needed  and although they did not have it in stock promised it for the next day.  It arrived and I duly went in to pick it up.

The reason I was so pleased was not that they had been so efficient in identifying and ordering the part, or that I was able to replace the mirror only. It was that the Buckingham Ford Emplyee on the customer service counter offered to and indeed did,  follow me back to my car and fit the mirror for me.  A job that was quite simple for someone who knew what they were doing and  which would have probably taken me the best part of an afternoon!!

Great service, which costs nothing but which means I will keep going back there.

Anyone with any other examples of Customer Service in and around Buckingham, let me know.
