It would appear The Old Gaol Tourist Information Centre is under threat.
Understandably Aylesbury Vale DC or looking for ways of saving money but withdrawing mony for the Centre, Museum and Shop should not be one of them. We need more places and people to fly the flag for the town, not less! The centre had more than 30,000 visitors during 2009 and thousands of phone calls and emails. The Old Gaol is rightly the focal point of the town for residents and visitors for whom it is very often the first port of call.
If you agree and don't want to see the Old Gaol Centre be mothballed, call into the centre and add your name to the 100s who have already signed the petition.
