I came across Steve's website whilst on the hunt for a handyman in the area. I was really pleased that he could complete a few jobs for us within a week of initial contact. Steve's friendly and professional approach came across the minute he walked through the door. He quickly got on with the jobs at hand from fixing a curtain rail to fixing a doorknob. He even helped with some grouting in the bathroom (even though we hadn't put that on the list)! An efficient service and good value. I highly recommend Steve.

We asked Mark and his team to modernise our new house in South London, which included rewiring, replumbing, replastering, installing new bathrooms and a kitchen and we could not be more delighted. Mark's team were incredibly professional and efficient and our snagging list was extremely short. We booked the original pavilion for our wedding on 9th September 2017. The moment we walked in to have a look at the pavilion we knew immediately that this was the venue we wanted. The size of the room suited us and we liked the outside space and the bar area . Ben and Jane were very helpful in making it our special day.

I have used One Stop Building twice in the last year. On the first occasion Mark was able to offer help in fleshing out our ideas to create an en-suite shower room, downstairs toilet and utility room. In fact he recommended the latter piece of work was done whilst doing the first two as it would assist the subsequent work we were planning to refurbish our kitchen rather than doing it with the kitchen package of works. This was a very good idea that made the subsequent kitchen works much less disruptive. We were so pleased with One Stop’s work that we used them for the structural works necessary before our kitchen fitters installed our new kitchen. In this case they worked to CAD drawings and delivered a shell which was perfect for the fitting. In the course of both projects we saw a number of Mark’s people who were polite and very tidy.
We selected One Stop after inviting in a number of other builders to estimate as well. They were not the cheapest, but Mark inspires confidence, understood what we wanted to achieve and was very thorough in his estimate and what risk there might be to the budget. Ultimately you get what you pay for and we were very pleased with the quality of finish and professionalism of the team carrying out the work. One word of warning – he is very busy so it is necessary to plan well ahead to get a slot that works for you.

We self manage a complex of flats in 4 blocks in Beckenham. Steve Hills has been our builder and handyman for a couple of years. We cannot recommend Steve enough, he and his team are: responsive and reliable and have demonstrated a high quality of work and technical skills in brickwork, painting, gulley and drainpipe repair and door repair among others. Steve's pricing is good value, transparent and invoicing timely. Above all Steve is personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy.
