  • Wednesday 25th July, 10:30am - Until Wednesday 22nd August, 3:30pm
Paging all 'Junior Doctors'! The Glades Shopping Centre has a special operation for you to complete this summer. If you’ve ever wondered what happens inside your lungs when you sneeze or why you laugh when you’re tickled, you’ve come to the right place!

'Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes: A Journey Through the Human Body' is another UK exclusive brought to you by the award-winning team behind last year's space bonanza, 'Kids on the Moon'.

The FREE event will see dinky doctors donning white coats before joining ‘Senior Surgeons’ for a 40-minute operation to find out about all the fascinating, freakish and sometimes farty things that go on inside the human body.

Did you know that the average person produces enough saliva in their lifetime to fill two swimming pools? Or that the small intestine is 23 feet long? Find out even more gross, weird and wonderful facts at Bromley's event of the summer.

The event is FREE to attend but tickets must be booked via The Glades' website.

Tours of the body will take place from Monday to Friday at intervals from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Please note this event is suitable for children in school years 1 to 6.
