Bromley Central Library - providing a wide range of services to residents in Bromley Borough

 

There are fifteen branch libraries in Bromley as well as the popular Mobile Library Service. For those of you who have problems getting out and about, you can make use of the Home Library Service which delivers books to you in your own home in Bromley.

 

Anyone can join the library. All you need is current proof of identity - and it's free!

 

  • Adults can borrow up to 12 items (including maximum 6 audio and 3 video)
  • Children aged up to 11 can borrow up to 8 items (including maximum 2 audio and 2 video)
  • Use our online library catalogue to see what we have in stock and keep up-to-date with our monthly lists of new additions to stock.

 

 


 

Even if you don't join Bromley Central library there are plenty of things they can offer you, such as:

  • Free internet access , even on the Mobile Library vehicle
  • Free WiFi access in Bromley Central Library
  • Lots of regular events for all ages including coffee mornings, author book signings, reading groups, storytimes and exhibitions
  • An extensive Reference and Information Service in Bromley Central Library with smaller collections in all the branches
