The ESU is a membership organisation and charity promoting international understanding through the use of the English Language.
The ESU brings together and empowers people of different languages and cultures. We work principally with young people in the UK and internationally, helping them to gain the skills and confidence in communications to reach their full potential.
Worldwide, our members and alumni engage in dialogue and the exchange of ideas and opinions using English as a common language.
Locally, we organise talks on a wide range of subjects for our members and visitors, and work with local schools to promote all forms of speech and debate.
