Simon'S Profile
Simon was originally an Award winning chef, working at various 4 and 5 star establishments in and around the North West of England.
In 1995 he left the Catering Industry, becoming a Training Officer for the Hotel and Catering Training Company and was responsible for the Bolton, Bury and Rochdale T.E.C contracts. In 1997 he was recruited by the North Lancs Training Group to set up a new Hospitality department. Working here for 7 years, Simon developed a reputation for excellence, setting up the first OFSTED Grade 1 training programme in the country.
Simon has since been collaborating with schools in the Bolton and Bury area, with great success. He is an Experienced School Governor and is Chair of Governors for Rivington and Blackrod High School.
Simon has won many accolades, the most recent being a Goldman Sachs 10k Small Business award winner for playing “a vital role in creating jobs and driving economic growth”.
