Bolton Bulls Wheelchair Basketball Club are a local charity working with both disabled and able-bodied people bringing them together with the sport of basketball. As a registered charity they are continuously fundraising and would love your support!

Organisers of the Horwich Festival of Racing have put in plans to extend the races from 1 to 4 days in 2012 to celebrate the races 10th Anniversary, The Olympics and The Queens Diamond Jubilee.

Tenacity of Bolton, the sailing boat built by pupils from Bolton School spent the summer of 2011 circumnavigating the UK, crewed by pupils old and new as well as those from other schools. Many pupils achieved Duke of Edinburghs Awards during the voyage.

Welcome to Bolton's Walking Weekend! Walking is free, fun, healthy and a great way to meet new people and make friends.
Whatever the weather a leader will be present at the start of each walk to decide whether or not the walk will go ahead.
After the success of the Iron Man competition in Bolton, talks are in place for Bolton to host other top sporting events such as cycling competitions. Runners are invited to travel to Paderborne our twin town to take part in their own annual road race

Bolton staged another successful IRONMAN UK event when nearly 1300 athletes competed to be recognised as an IRONMAN. 2.4 mile swim, followed by 112 mile cycle and 26.2 mile run. The course had to be completed with 17 hours for competitors to be recognised
Bolton Lads and Girls Club have teamed up with BETFRED for a day at Haydock Park Races and have invite local Bolton businesses to enjoy some fantastic corporate hospitality and help raise money for a Mentoring Project at the club.
