A taste of Bollywood is coming to Bolton this October World renowned singer and Bollywood superstar Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will be performing at the Bolton Excellency on Tuesday 14th October to raise money for Bolton Hospice.
The Purple Property Shop, who have offices in Bury, as well as Bolton, are now supporting Bury Hospice by donating 10% of all their revenues from houses they sell or rent in Bury to the hospice.
Fresh from their appearance at Bolton Food and Drink Festival, Bolton Cancer Voices are on the search for additional members as they now enter in to preparations for their exciting festive programme, which amongst other things will see them repeat their popular concert – ‘Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long’ on 6th December in the Victoria Hall and perform in Manchester Cathedral.
Bolton College’s efforts to tackle unemployment were recognised: an associated employer, an innovative staff member and a former apprentice who now runs a business were all celebrated at the Skills for Business Awards 2014. The awards ceremony may have been a glittering, glamorous affair, but the night’s successes were a direct result of Bolton College’s dedication to a much more serious issue – that of tackling skills shortages to reduce unemployment and bolster the local economy
