The RSPCA Blackpool based at Longview Animal Centre is a charitable organisation with a key focus devoted to animal rescue. The RSPCA is a charity that has cared for lost, stray and abandoned animals in the Blackpool area for over 130 years. Although, based in Blackpool, this animal centre serves a vast area throughout Lancashire that stretches north to Silverdale.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is the world’s oldest charitable organisation operating as an animal welfare charity. The main aims of this charitable organisation are to promote kindness and prevent or suppress cruelty to all animals.
RSPCA Blackpool & North Lancashire has always relied on public charitable donations in its fight for the welfare and care of animals. It is totally dependent on your generosity and donations to care for the animals at the charity.
As we receive funding from neither the government nor the central RSPCA, we are constantly in need of charitable funds via donations to carry out our work around Blackpool.
Please join our 4,000 Friends Appeal where you can donate a minimum of £2 a month to ensure the animals we care for in and around Blackpool Lytham St. Annes, the Fylde coast and North West Lancashire get the care they deserve. Every penny you donate to this charity goes directly to animal health & welfare work.
Please call for Gift Aid details and standing order forms to make any charitable donation.
In return for your charitable donation you will receive
ï A welcome pack with membership card and Paws badge
ï Annual newsletter with all the charity news from the branch
ï Invitations to social events for supporters
Other ways to help:
ï Fun ways to raise funds
ï Donation of food and equipment
