After opening their doors just over a year ago, around 1,000 people are regularly learning to dance at various venues in the North West, now including Fylde Rugby Club near Blackpool.

Keith Laney, the founder of Revolution Dance, has spent the last seven years teaching his unique blend of blues, swing, tango, salsa and modern jive all over the UK and Europe. He produced and directed Strictly Not Ballroom in Stockport last year and co-launched A Chance 2 Dance, which is the largest annual modern jive competition in the UK, held at Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Revolution Dance Fylde

Revolution Dance Fylde teaches an eclectic mix of Jive, Blues, Swing, Salsa (featuring Tango moves), with regular weekly classes and monthly dances which also include dance workshops.

Bev Lewis of Revolution Dance Fylde takes her influences from Modern Jive, Latin, Salsa, West Coast Swing, Blues and Argentinian Tango.

As well as running a busy venue, Bev competes and performs dance cabaret across the North West with her dance partner, Keith Davies from Revolution Dance.  Bev also trains with the UK Adult Latin Formation Dance Team which competes at Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Bev is available for guest teaching and dance instruction, dance cabaret and floor shows for commercial or corporate events, private dance tuition, competition judging and choreography.
