Let's collectively kick this INCINERATOR PROPOSAL into touch!!
I am fed up with being in an area that the government seem to think is fair play to give permission for not one but TWO incinerators AND a high speed railway line cutting through our lovely countryside.
Ardley recently got permission to build an incinerator plant and now Calvert is, yet again, threatened with the same. We need to collectively fight this plan with letters of protest NOW.
We DO NOT want to be sandwiched between TWO incinerators only 12 miles apart, as the crow flies.
PLEASE write to the address below or email BY 8th APRIL, quoting 11/20000/AWD - the more voices that are heard, might just tip the balance in our favour. Increased heavy goods vehicles, blot on the landscape, environmental pollution etc - even letters from children with their simple objections will have impact.
