Care UK’s Chapter House, on Keldgate, will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 25th September from 10:30am, in its café,
Members of the community can enjoy a relaxed morning while fundraising, with plenty of activities to get involved in.
There will also be a selection of homemade treats prepared by the home's head chef, including Macmillan-inspired green cupcakes. Residents and team members will be wearing green throughout the day to show their support for the cancer charity.
Stephanie Blake, Deputy Home Manager at Chapter House, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting our own Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for such an important cause.
“Events like this as they’re a great way to bring people together, create new connections and strengthen links within the local community. We're also excited to welcome guests to our cafe, which is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, a slice of cake and great company.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone for a morning of fundraising and fun.”
Chapter House offers full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
