Garra Rufa Fish Spa Pedicure

Garra Rufa fish, also known as Doctor Fish, or Nibble Fish live and breed in the outdoor pools of some Turkish Spas, where they feed on the skin of patients with psoriasis. The fish are like combfishes in that they only consume the affected and dead areas of the skin, leaving the healthy skin to grow, these fish were also used as a cleansing treatment on the whole body, including teeth! These fish, don’t have teeth and only eat dead skin cells on the feet and legs to reveal soft, refreshed, revitalised skin.

A natural pedicure that leaves you relaxed and revitalised.

The sensation is similar to that of mini Jacuzzi jets that gently massage and stimulate your skin. Some people find the experience ticklish at first but the feeling passes quickly so that deep relaxation can begin.

This relaxing and unusual Pedicure is available at the De Lacy Spa in Beverley
