After 25 years of trading in Beverley town centre, Currys is set to close their doors for a final time in March.
The shop employs five people - parent company Dixons Retail said it was "too early to say" whether those workers could be found jobs in other stores.
The move towards out-of-town shopping and the increase in online sales has left many town centres with empty shop units.
