Saturday saw the first of the proposed live music events in North Bar Within, as mentioned in my previous blog, the purpose of the live music was to help attract more shoppers to the area in a bid to increase trade for the local businesses.
Following the success of the first concert in Coronation Gardens in North Bar, the idea could actually be extended to other areas of Beverley to achieve the same result.
The scheme is the brainchild of former mayor Councillor David Elvidge, who hailed Saturday's event as a success.
According to a report in the Hull and East Riding Mail, Councillor Elvidge said " I was delighted with the response from people who came into the gardens to listen to the band"
