Originally established in 1989 the Bengal Brasserie has garned many loyal followers, as well as awards, in its 18 years in Belfast as an Indian Restaurant.
'Best Indian Restaurant in Belfast 2006'
Bengal Brasserie has been in Belfast for 18 years and is well known for the high quality of food served and fast, friendly service.
Now relocated to its new site on the Ormeau Road, the 65 seater premises has a contemporary interior with air conditioning and an open kitchen window which you can watch the highly skilled chefs prepare your meal.
The menu is a careful selection of Sylheti dishes drawn from the Indian subcontinent, chosen for both flavour and content. However, if for what ever reason you require a dish that isn't listed the chefs will be happy to prepare a meal to your individual tastes. The Indian restaurant also prepares fresh juices to order as a perfect accompaniment to your meal.
One of the most popular innovations in the brasserie is the Bengal Tapas. While tapas means cover in Spanish, it also means heat in ancient Sanskrit and essential energy in Yogi. From these themes the Head Chef, Janial, has created a selection of dishes which comprise a variety of seasonal, freshly prepared delicacies designed for you to share. This choice is great for any diners trying Indian food for the first time or for regular visitors who would like to try something different. Enjoy Bengal Tapas either as a starter or main course for parties of two or more.
A European menu is also available but really when Indian cuisine tastes this good, it would be a crime not to sample it.
For an Indian curry that is mouthwatering or simply any food you fancy, Bengal Brasserie is sure to deliver.
Enjoy Indian Dining the Bengal Brasserie way.
(They also do takeaway food, with the same excellent quality)
