Bath G&S Society pays tribute to a great British institution an its performers - The Music Hall

In a welcome departure from its traditional repertoire, the multi-award winning Bath G&S Society returns to The Mission with one of its popular Old Time Music Halls, last presented there in 2019.

The Victorians and Edwardians flocked to the music hall to see the stars and entertainers of the day – the likes of Vesta Tilley, Marie Lloyd, Harry Champion and Charles Coborn.

Bath G&S pays a tantalising tribute to this great British institution and its performers, presenting an evening of songs, medleys, comedy and variety from the period.  With consummate competence our exuberantly eloquent Chair will guide you through proceedings and raucous renditions of those timeless sing-a-long classics – “My Old Man”, “Daisy, Daisy”, and “Any Old Iron” are guaranteed!

So why not put a spring in your step and snap up a ticket for an evening of mirth, merriment and mayhem.

‘… a close-knit group of performers that was well disciplined, supportive of each other and totally dedicated to their craft’.  ROSE BOWL ADJUDICATION, Pirates of Penzance 2018

Performances: 24, 25 & 26 April at 7.30 pm; 27 April at 2.00 pm (only)
