This weekend a group of 16 year olds will be taking part in a planned sleep-out to raise awareness of the struggles facing young homeless people.

Barrow Archives and Local Studies Centre would like people to take photographs of their street so that they can build up a photographic record of the Borough in 2017-2018 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Borough and docks.
During July and August Barrow Firefighters will be delivering free lifesaving skills training.
In recognition of the sterling work they continually do, and the lifeline they provide for the community, Barrow Foodbank has been awarded The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service!
The Coronation Hall is not only now a charity, it’s also supported by the Co-Op local community fund.
