How often do you tell your local restaurant, hairdresser or butcher how pleased you were with their service?
It’s always easy to moan about bad service but we rarely take the time to say when we’re happy.
Yet for local businesses, the lifeblood of our neighbourhoods, complements and recommendations are not just welcome but invaluable in helping them grow.
Some businesses find it embarrassing to ask their customers for feedback, either through fear of being criticised or just because it’s not in their nature to do so.
That’s why, at thebestof, we run an annual 14 Days of Love Campaign.
This was the 4th annual 14 Days of Love Campaign and we were delighted with the effort put in by many of our local business members all vying for the accolade of ‘Most Loved Business in the borough of Barnet’.
Congratulations to Steve and Jane Russell from Russell Automotive Centre, the winners of the best of Barnet Borough’s 14 Days of Love and to all the winners locally and across the country.
We were delighted to see local people actively voting for their best loved businesses. It’s so important for our local businesses and great to see how much you care.
Although the campaign is over for another year, supporting your favourite local businesses carries on.
Recommending your favourite businesses to friends, family and colleagues, is so important to helping our local businesses grow and thrive. It’s a great way to keep the borough’s businesses vibrant and thriving so please continue to post your comments, they’re really appreciated.
