Wonderful place to come and relax, walk through the woods and buy very reasonable plats, some very unusual. Finish off woth a meal in the cafe; ice-creams are delicious!

We often pop into the museum to get some relief from a shopping trip with the kids! It has some great hands on activities for the children and thereʼs often a craft activity for them too. They love to watch the boats on the canal from the bridge style gallery which runs over it. They ask to go into the museum whenever we go past.
Iʼve been impressed by the quality of the information in the museum - itʼs not too ʼheavyʼ but is very interesting and informative.
Well worth a visit, especially since itʼs free.
