Sheesh Mahal, (aka "The Sheesh" to those in the know!) - apart from being the best Indian Restaurant in Banbury (according to you!), is also in the top five best businesses in Banbury.
We know this because we asked you during our 14 Days of Love campaign - a mission to find out who the best businesses are in their category and in their town.
During the campaign, you told us that The Sheesh was the fourth best loved business in Banbury. So, to mark this, we went there and presented a certificate to Mr Khalid, the proprietor of the business. He's pictured, left, proudly displaying his award. I'm sure he'll have it pinned to the wall next to his other thebestofbanbury Best Business certificate!
We didn't leave empty handed either! We ordered Chicken Dhal, and Lamb Balti, as well as a delicious naan and pilau rice. Delicious!
