Join us as we showcase the amazing Flora of the Aston Clinton Ragpits nature reserve. Don’t miss the chance to discover a hidden botanic paradise in the heart of Buckinghamshire.
Tucked away in the corner of Wendover Woods between Aylesbury and Tring, Aston Clinton Ragpits is a three hectares reserve that is home to roughly eight different species of orchid, including greater butterfly-orchids and fragrant orchids. The chalk grassland, which has been managed and maintained by BBOWT for the last 20 years, provides the perfect condition for these varieties to thrive. Come along and learn more about the stunning wildflowers on your doorstep.
The talk will be led by Phil Townsend, volunteer warden at Aston Clinton Ragpits.
Tickets are £6 per person, including refreshments and a free raffle ticket, payable by card or cash at the door.
Free parking available at the venue.
