Although Thebestofaccrington is only just getting started, our community is already becoming a vibrant hub for local businesses and organisations. Having such a well-loved and impactful organisation as our first member sets the perfect tone for the journey ahead.
Since 2007, Accrington Stanley has built a legacy of more than football. They’re an award-winning charity dedicated to changing lives through sport, education, and community spirit. Their mission is simple but powerful: to support the local community, regardless of age, gender, or background, and to inspire healthier, more connected lifestyles.
And it’s safe to say, they’re succeeding. The Trust delivers over 15,000 community engagements every year, reaching everyone from toddlers to pensioners. From education and sports participation to health and wellbeing activities, their work makes a genuine difference in the lives of thousands.
