On Sunday 14th September 2025 at 3 pm Huw Rhys James, Viennese conductor and concert pianist is returning to St Michael's Church in Abingdon to perform music by Haydn, Mozart, Liszt and Debussy. He is a renowned conductor who has performed in Vienna and Salzburg and in 2009 Huw returned to the podium as a concert pianist and has performed in many European countries as well as the United States and China. He has made numerous recordings, both as a conductor, soloist and a Lieder accompanist.
