A care home in Abingdon is inviting the local community to enjoy a morning of coffee, tea and cakes while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Care UK’s Stowford House, on Faringdon Road, will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning on the 25th September from 11am, in its bistro.
Members of the community can enjoy a relaxed morning while fundraising, with a live performance saxophone performance to look forward to and plenty of activities to get involved in, including a special quiz.
There will also be a selection of homemade treats prepared by the home's head chef, including Macmillan-inspired green cupcakes. Residents and team members will be wearing green throughout the day to show their support for the cancer charity.
