Lesley Thorp of the Cowton Riding Centre has been teaching the skills of horse riding since 1999. Teaching involves both trekking and hacking, and has 18 horses at the centre. She will take individuals and groups, and even organises treks. The centre is two-and-a-half miles from Stonehaven, and is easy to find. So come along and treat yourself and your family to a wonder
