Yes, it is Valentine's Day again! We can help you to show your love with the help of good local businesses.
For the guys
A lady always loves to receive flowers and it is good to organise this in advance. This is not the time to be popping down to the garage the night before!
We recommend Four Season’s Florist in Rosemount Place, Aberflora in Victoria Road and Petals in Peterculter.
All can be found in our florists' section.
If you order a dozen red roses from Aberflora by 8th February, they will include a box of chocolates!
If you are taking your lady out for a meal, you also need to think ahead, as the best restaurants get booked up early. For a really special meal take her to Eat on the Green at Udny Green. or if she likes Indian cuisine, one of the best in the area is the Cinnamon, in Union Street. In Inverurie we can recommend the Fennel Restaurant or you might like to really push the boat out and book a meal and a room at the Raemoir House Hotel a lovely country house hotel near Banchory.
If you are cooking a romantic meal at home, don’t forget the champagne and chocolates. In fact you can buy pretty much everything you need from Kelly of Cults including the food, wine, a card and chocolates.
Why not choose her a ring (especially if you are going to pop the question!) or another item of jewellery. Jackie at The Jewellery Box in Inverurie has a lovely selection of modern and traditional items – and she will help you choose.
Your lady will love you for a gift voucher for beauty treatment at one of our top salons. Utopia, Simply Bliss, Beautonia, Ispiro Estetica and Aberdeen College all offer vouchers. You will find them all in our Beauty Salons section.
For the girls
You will want to look and feel good for Valentine’s Day. We can highly recommend our beauty salons (see paragraph above) or why not spoil yourself with a visit to one of the top hair salons in Aberdeen, including Mokoko, Hatstand Nelly, in:tuition at Aberdeen College, Ispiro Estetica. Find them in our hairdressers section.
On Valentine's Day, Mokoko invite you to enjoy their day of ‘Party Hour`and enjoy a glass of fizz and some choccies - but you will need to book early!
