The Olympic Flame comes to Aberdeen 11th -12th June 2012

The Olympic Flame will be carried from Ballater through to Aberdeen, for a celebration at Castlegate on the evening of Monday 11th June at around 6.30pm  

Let's all line the route for this once in a lifetime opportunity to support the runners and celebrate the Olympics. 

On the 11th, the route starts at Aviemore, goes through Ballater, Aboyne, Banchory, Cults and Aberdeen. 

On the 12th, the Torch Relay will set off at 7.20am  from BP's headquarters in Dyce, making its way via Bucksburn and the Haudigan Roundabout to Hilton Drive, where the first Torch bearer of the day will carry the Olympic Flame.  The relay will then continue via Anderson Drive to Bridge of Dee and then make its way on to the A90 as it leaves Aberdeen and continues on its historic journey.to Stonehaven, Marykirk, Montrose, Forfar and on to Dundee.
