Empire HR - an Aberdeen-based HR and employment law firm has appointed a new Business Development Manager to support continual growth in the North-east and across Scotland.

Cara Beamish has taken on the role at leading Scottish HR company Empire HR following a long career as deputy advertising manager with the Press & Journal newspaper.

With ten years experience in business development and managing key accounts, Miss Beamish will focus on further developing the Empire sales team, which is key to growing the business in the future.

Miss Beamish said: “Following ten years in the media, this is a new career challenge, however, as a manager I have always appreciated the importance and value of expert HR support for any business.

“There is already a strong team at Empire HR and we have a diverse client base, so my role will focus on further developing the business using my own database of contacts across the North-east and Highlands.”

Empire HR places a firm focus on recruitment to create a skilled and experienced workforce of dedicated individuals.

Of the recent appointment, CEO Steve Cook said: ‘We pride ourselves in providing our clients with the best service possible, and to do that we need a strong and focussed team.

“Cara’s appointment is critical to Empire’s growth in the coming months and years and her knowledge and expertise in managing teams will help us build a superb sales team across Scotland.”

Empire HR is set to recruit more key members of sales staff in the next few months to strengthen the current team.
