Blackberry Breakfast Success
Thebestofaberdeen held a very successful networking breakfast at The Arches in Aberdeen with DF Communications on 30th June.
Claire Shaw from Blackberry UK gave a good presentation on how to use your Blackberry most effectively and also gave a demonstration of the new Blackberry Playbook, a very handy sized tablet. Smaller than an iPad and, according to my wife, better sized for handbags!
John Price of ActionCoach won a Blackberry Curve mobile phone, James Donaldson of Engage PR won 2 lunches at Business Network Scotland and Emma from DF Communications won 2 lunches at The Arches - a nice present for Emma who was celebrating her 21st birthday!
The Arches coffee shop laid on a tasty breakfast and excellent networking was had by all.
Our previous networking events have been held after work, but many who attended this breakfast said they liked the early start, when they were fresh and alert.
A big thank you to Dianne at DF Communications for all her hard work and to Gillian and her team at The Arches for keeping us fed and coffee'd.
