From a boy Nick Lumb has had an affinity with trees and wood. His opportunity to turn his passion into a successful business occurred when he was made redundant from his job as a Computer Systems Manager in 1998 and he founded Acorn Arborcare & Acorn Furniture.
Nick was already a keen wood carver and furniture maker in his spare time and expanded this knowledge with courses and training in professional Tree Surgery, becoming the local specialist Tree Surgeon in Wrexham and North Wales.
