After more than 20 years working as a head chef Ian Pope decided to take over the Ffrwd Inn and run this as an eating Inn with his family.  For the last 3 years the pub restaurant has catered for their Wrexham and North Wales clientele delivering the finest freshly cooked meals at very affordable prices.

Situated in a picturesque valley by the side of the River Ceigidog on the outskirts of Cefn Y Bedd, Wrexham, the Ffrwd Inn offers you the opportunity to walk along the wooded river banks to sharpen the appetite that Ians food will more than satisfy.

The pub restaurant's constantly changing menu, with everything freshly prepared and cooked on the premises by Ian and his team, covers everything from Welsh Lamb to curries and prime steaks to pasta dishes.  However, Ian's speciality is fish.  Each day you can chose from fresh salmon, sea bass, hake, haddock, cod, sea bream, lemon sole, monkfish, halibut, and king scallops.  As if this isn’t enough you can enjoy Dover sole, lobster or oysters by prior arrangement.  Just call Ian on Wrexham (01978) 757951 to make sure it's available.

If you have room, not everyone will have, then the restaurant's sweet board, including a selection of tempting desserts and ice cream made on the premises, will add that special treat.

Real ale is always available, the selection changing on a regular basis.

 A fine wine cellar offers you the choice of over 20 wines specially selected to compliment the extensive menu.

Why not end the meal with a whisky, Ian keeps a stock of single malts to tempt the tastebuds and put the finishing touch to a splendid evening.

Occassionally live music is provided.
