In 2005 this delightful pub restaurant was treated to a major refurbishment and the attractively redesigned interior is now just one more very good reason to join friends 'down by the river' for a leisurely lunch or a superb evening meal.
We have plenty of cask ales, augmented by a good choice of lagers and a large selection of fine wines, available by the glass or bottle.
The Alyn's Head Chef, Matthew Yoxall, has produced an imaginative restaurant menu with a separate fish blackboard which comes highly recommended. The pub restaurant menu changes every 6-8 weeks whilst the fish blackboard changes on a daily basis. Pub meals may be enjoyed inside or outside and we have a non smoking area overlooking the Alyn river and our well kept pub gardens.
We have extensive outside seating to make the most of those summer nights with patio heaters to keep you warm once the sun has gone down.
